2007 Faculty and Curriculum Development Summer Institute

July 15 - 20, 2007
Sonoma State University
Rohnert Park, CA

Teams from Shared Futures’ network of sixteen institutions participated in the 2007 Summer Institute, which was held at Sonoma State University. The Institute placed emphasis on global learning and science, including such issues as global warming and pandemics, as well as how to integrate global learning into introductory science courses. In addition, several sessions and individual campus consultations focused on assessment issues. The Institute was designed for participants to learn from one another in small reading seminars, plenary sessions, film discussions, workshops on pedagogy and curricular design, and concurrent sessions designed and led by team members.
More information available here.
