Campus Grants

The Bringing Theory to Practice Project has offered various levels of funding since 2003, and to date has contributed towards over 180 projects at more than 100 institutions. Participating institutions are the strength of BTtoP - promoting the Project’s mission and goals throughout their campuses, extending their efforts into their communities, and contributing to the general environment of higher education.

The projects RFP's have offered four major categories of funding on projects exploring Engaged Learning, Civic Engagement & Civic Development, Student Mental Health, Well-Being and Psychosocial Development, and Transformational Learning (as defined in our glossary). For more information on specific categories and projects, visit:

Information about current funding opportunities available under the 2010-2012 RFP is available here.
