Bringing Theory to Practice

Campus Participation: Intensive Sites

In the summer of 2007, the Bringing Theory to Practice Project awarded grants of $250,000 to two Intensive Site campuses. BTP created this new level of funding with the intention of improving upon work done by its Demonstration Sites. These sites specfically address the issue of selection bias through reaching 100% of a target population (i.e. an entire residence hall, or an entire first year class). The duration of the program is 3 years, with the 4th year being used to conduct analysis of data findings.

Please be advised that Intensive Sites have been chosen for the 2007-2010 funding period. BTtoP is not accepting new applications until further notice.
