General Education Maps and Markers: Quality Assurance Group

The GEMs/VALUE Quality Assurance Group helped to guide the planning phase of the GEMs project and its connections to AAC&U’s VALUE project. The Quality Assurance Group provided advice about how the initiative could best contribute to policies and practices that ensure that all college students attain the most important outcomes of a college education and are able to demonstrate what they have learned and how they can apply what they have learned in new settings. The group also contributed feedback on the draft documents created as part of the GEMs and VALUE projects and strategizes about how the GEMs and VALUE projects could be mutually supportive of each project’s respective goals.
