Campus Action Network

LEAP brings together campuses and organizations committed to liberal education, helps them to improve their efforts to ensure all students achieve essential liberal education outcomes, and shines a spotlight on campus practices that work.

The campus-action component of AAC&U’s LEAP campaign builds the capacity of campus and organizational partners:

1. To communicate effectively about the value of a liberal education in the 21st century with both on-campus and off-campus constituents.
2. To understand better how successfully they are delivering on the promise of liberal education.
3. To assess and improve efforts to ensure that all their students are achieving the essential outcomes of an engaged and practical liberal education.
4. To learn from colleagues at other institutions about promising practices that work.
5. To gather data about essential liberal education student learning outcomes.
6. To effectively tell stories of student success as a result of liberal education.
