The 2017 Institute on General Education and Assessment will be held at Loyola University Chicago. The campus provides many amenities and services to meet participant needs during the Institute. Located on the CTA's red line, the Lake Shore Campus is a short train or cab ride from the Loop, Wrigley Field, and all the museums, theaters, fine restaurants, and other attractions Chicago has to offer.

Founded in 1870, Loyola University Chicago is one of the nation’s largest Jesuit, Catholic universities, with nearly 16,000 students. Nearly 10,000 undergraduates hailing from all 50 states and 82 countries call Loyola home. Consistently ranked a top national university by U.S. News & World Report, Loyola is also among a select group of universities recognized for community service and engagement by prestigious national organizations such as the Carnegie Foundation and the Corporation for National and Community Service. A beautiful campus directly on the shore of Lake Michigan, Loyola's Lake Shore Campus combines a traditional campus feel with an energetic urban setting.
