About the Institute
The POD Network Institute focuses on a national, faculty development-driven process to identify methods for benchmarking quality, scalable, evidence-based faculty development that supports learner-centered teaching for all students. Institute leaders draw from their experiences in multiple organizational roles and across multiple institutional types and higher education associations, such as the POD Network and the American Council on Education. They discuss their use of a large-group convening of teaching and learning expert scholars and practitioners, small group analysis, and state-of-the art research to identify and align the assessments of faculty development with instructional change and student learning.

The Institute will offer practices and strategies to measure the quality and efficacy of teaching, student learning, and faculty development activities. Attendees will have an opportunity to distinguish and discuss quality assessment measures that will best serve their programmatic needs.
